This week we're taking a look at one of the easiest ways to throw together a gorgeous fall outfit - going monochromatic. Monochromic outfits create something classic, playing with textures and prints while simultaneously accessorizing more unique handbags, jewellery, or footwear more easily. Keeping the same tones throughout elongates the figure, making you appear taller and displaying an elegant frame.

An entire beige outfit with pops of subtle blues entices while still keeping things basic. Shades of greys constitute timeless looks that you can wear again and again, perfect for Autumn knits and scarves. The Canadian Tuxedo creates endless possibilities for layering; make it more interesting by adding metallic shades or vibrant colour-tones. Or, if you're feeling more confident in your monochromatic pairings, you can opt for printed pieces - go for florals, stripes, or geometrics and add basic accessories and footwear to tone down the look and keep it simple.

Going monochromatic doesn't have to look boring. Just because an outfit is all black doesn't mean you can't make it more interesting with lots of layering, bold accessories, vibrant colours or different textures in each piece. Fall is the best time for this type of look because there is so much room for adding and accessorizing! Below are some monochromatic looks available to shop on our online store:
