Like most fashion retailers, here at Style 360 we sell seasonally, and are always a couple months ahead of the weather. Consignment for this coming fall 2022 season begins in mid August. If cooler, rainy summer days like today have you thinking about a closet clean-out, this is the perfect time to start sorting your fall pieces! The information on this post can give you a small outline of some trending clothing, accessories and footwear that you can lookout for while choosing what to consign this August.
Style 360 specializes in designer and luxury pieces, but also selling trusted brands from GAP all the way to Chanel. We also tend to try to stick with items that are currently being sought after, analyzing trends specific to the London area and within the fashion industry to choose pieces that will fit our customers' wants and needs. With mandates continuing to lift, we can start taking pieces that are dressier and more unique than we have been able to in the last two years. We’re slowly shifting from trends that are more about comfort and leaning towards styles that bring out more interest and identity in outfits. This includes bold colours, oversized jackets and bags, and the return of leopard and tiger prints!

One of my personal favourites trending this season is the oversized jacket. This consists of oversized moto jackets, extra-long duster coats, and ultra-puffy bombers. Despite a step back from the comfy trend, these jackets allow for more fashion-forward comfort that’s easy to wear over any outfit!

Hot-pink wool trench coats, highlighter-yellow maxi skirts, neon-orange turtlenecks. Bold colours for fall is one of the top runway trends of the season. An easy way to add some fun to neutral fall staple pieces, best with blacks or browns!

Wide-leg jeans are also making a serious come back, slowly trickling their way into London-area fashion. After two years of wearing nothing but sweatpants, it’s easy to understand why skinny jeans are no longer preferred. Perfect to pair with an oversized coat or a cozy knit sweater!

Function-focused utility boots are back, featuring functional (or non-functional) buckle details, harnesses, and heavy metal hardware. From ankle to mid-calf lengths, these are the perfect boots to add some edge to any autumn look!

Bold cat-prints such as leopard and tiger are having a moment, employed in faux furs and silks and mixed with other prints such as florals. A timeless print that makes a great fall staple in every closet!

Jumping on the trend of mixing fashion with functionality, larger bags make it easier to carry everything you need and look good doing it. A great piece that goes hand-in-hand with oversized jackets.
There are always so many trends every season and it can be difficult to follow along with what's really going to sell and what isn't. To keep it simple, fall staples will always include:
- Basic long-sleeves and turtlenecks, knit sweaters, hoodies.
- Dark-wash and distressed jeans, dress pants, maxi skirts.
- Trench coats, wrap coats, denim jackets, leather jackets.
- Neutral coloured leather and textile handbags.
- Ankle boots, loafers, classic pumps, etc.
